Islip Horsemens Association
|
|
| Founded in 1970, The Islip Horsemen's Association is open to all horsemen and horsewomen and their families, not just residents of Islip township. The intent of this club is to be involved in community affairs that may effect horse ownership, to educate horse owners and horse lovers, to sponsor horse shows, and just have fun! Monthly meetings which are open to all are held on the fourth tuesday of each month. Each month we try to have a guest speaker on horse related topics. Our great monthly newsletter, IHA NEWS, contains articles, letters, artwork and information on upcoming events and meetings. The club has its own drill team called "The Spirit of Long Island Mounted Drill Team", which performs for the public several times a year and are the public relations team for our club. There are also many parades on Long Island that our club is invited to ride in. The club also schedules and organizes special events, clinics , trips, parties and our November Awards Dinner Dance. I am proud to be a member of such an involved organization. |
Gary Marhsall and Ann White "Happy New Year Sue! Thanks so much for all of your help in finding us a house. We really appreciate your patience and time you spent over the last year in our search for the "right" home for us. Your insight onto many of the neighborhoods we looked at was very valuable in helping us make the right decision/ The skill you displayed in the handling of the Seller "meltdown" was much appreciated. We are slowly settling in. Still no furniture so to speak of, but that will change tomorrow when we have the living room furniture delivered. Megan's bedroom furniture will be delivered later this month or in early Feb. We are still searching for the right bedrom set for us. We don't have a new home phone yet, so we are working from our cell phones for now. If you are in the neighborhood, please feel free to stop in.
All the best to you and your family as we enter 2008.
Regards, Gary Marshall, Ann Marie White & Megan White"
Cliff Marnick "Re: Property at 1436 Grundy Avenue, Holbrook, NY
Dear Sue, I am writing to thank you for your tremendous effort to have our home sold recently. I continue to tell my friends and family how you were able to sell my property in less than six months in one of the most challenging markets of history. Throughout the process you exhibited an extensive knowledge of the local real estate market as well as the national picture. You were always responsive responding to any questions/concerns that arose. You made my wife and I feel as if we were your only clients.
We are now very happy to be living our dream of residing in Arizona. This dream does not come true without you.
Warm Regards,
Cliff Marnick"
Karin & Tom Kane "Dear Sue, We can't thank you enough for working so hard to get our home sold within such a short time of having our listing! Our sour experience with our previous Realtor left us doubtful that our house would sell in this market at all. But, you really came through for us! Your knowlege and experience enabled you to give us a realistic view of what potential buyers were looking for and the consistent energy and determination you put into showing our home brought us the right buyer.
Thanks Again,
Karin & Tom Kane"
